Portal Security Synch process - Part 1 - Understanding PeopleSoft Portal Security Sync

Portal Security Sync is an application engine that analyzes all the permission lists and the components access for the Permission lists and updates the content reference with that permission list. The table that gets updated is PSPRSMPERM which is referred as the portal registry security table. This process even removes security from folders and content references that are invalid.
